Did you know Pops first name was Marcus B. Myers? His motto was 'By my corn I shall be known.' I remember my daddy always drove our family there on Sunday afternoons when I was young. Later it was my hang out. Anyone have some memories they could share of Pops?

Jean, I remember the Myers' Popcorn stand at Oak Park when I was still in school at Highland Ave. We went by the stand after swimming at Oak Park pool. I remember that a bag of popcorn sold for a dime. I think it was run by Pop's brother. I am not sure of his name. Maybe someone else can clue us in on his name.

i have a wonderful water color done by a montgomery artist of pop's fairview store. its so realistic you can almost smell that delicious corn i miss pop's corn and chris' hotdogs. copied but never duplicated!!
